In August, we ran a "lifestyle" photo competition, where our fellow Meeraboo lovers had to snap a photo of our beautiful new jars and post it on Facebook or Instagram for their chance to win $300 worth of Meeraboo candles.

We had so many beautiful entries that we simply couldn't select a winner ourselves, so we asked the public to vote.

We want you to live a long and happy life with your Meeraboo Candle! Read the tips below to find out how you can prolong the Meeraboo goodness!

Tip 1: When lighting for the first time, burn for a minimum of 2 hours or until the wax melts across the entire surface of the jar. This prevents tunnelling and creates an even burn.

Tip 2: DO NOT burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at one time. This can damage the wick and cause an undesirable burn.

Tip 3: Before each burn, trim wick to 5mm to promote an even burn, steady flame and limit mushrooming of the wick.

Here at Meeraboo HQ, we have been busy in our burrows, working hard to bring both our stockists and our customers exciting new products.

We asked our customers what they love about our candles, and they all agreed that they were great value due to their long and even burn and amazing scent throw. After months of research and testing, we have finally decided on the best quality jars and wicks that will keep delivering the Meeraboo value to our customers.

In selecting our new jars, we looked to our stockists and our own homes. We wanted to deliver a product that suited all home decor but was simple enough for even the most conservative home.

Our beautiful new jars are made of a high quality glass, finished off with the brushed copper lid, making them a statement piece in any home.

Along with our new jars we have also introduced our first signature triple scented fragrance, named after our beautiful rabbit, Willow. Mixing oriental spices, vanilla and clove buds it is the perfect winter companion for your home.

We are also very, very excited to announce that in November 2016, the Meeraboo team will be growing by one tiny little human! We will have him/her working on new scents in no time!
